Cooling system and radiator repair

An overheating engine can turn a small leak into a big repair. We find out why it’s running hot and fix the cause.

Common signs

When to bring it in

  • Temperature gauge climbing or in the red
  • Steam from under the hood or a sweet smell
  • Coolant puddles under the car (green, orange or pink)
  • Low coolant light, or you keep adding coolant
  • Heater blowing cold air
What we do

We pressure-test the cooling system to find leaks, then check the radiator, water pump, thermostat, hoses and cooling fans, and tell you if any hoses or belts are close to needing replacement.

We replace radiators in-house, along with water pumps, thermostats and hoses, then road-test to make sure it holds temperature.

Questions

Good to know

My engine is overheating. What should I do?

Pull over and turn the engine off. Driving an overheating engine can cause serious damage. Call us and we’ll help you figure out next steps.

Can I just keep adding coolant?

Topping off can get you home, but coolant doesn’t disappear on its own. If you keep adding it, there’s a leak, and we pressure-test to find it.

Do you replace radiators?

Yes. We replace radiators in-house, along with water pumps, thermostats and hoses.

Didn't think this kind of mechanic shop existed anymore. They replaced my water pump & turbine belt all in the same day. They will always have my business.Crickette Hulsey · Google review · Read it
